This gives it a slowly pace, as if it is savouringthe moment.In conclusion, aft er reading both poems, I discovered that I enjoyedreading Donnes poem more than Marvells. I found both poems aninteresting read, because over 500 years, love has changed. You wouldnot find a man living in the 21st Century, piece of music poetry and lettersto a woman, he wishes to bed. I think that this was a very romanticway of doing this. The reason why I enjoyed Donnes poem is because itwas sincere and passionate. Marvells being cool, witty and somewhatthreatening. Both poets live up to their metaphysical ways on thesepoems, with their imagery, similes, metaphors, alliteration,repetition and sexually explicit words.
